A bit about me :

I am a graduate of the Manchester School of Architecture and an artist. I have always had a passion for creating art since I was a child. I love making my art colourful, and using soft colours to give my art a dreamy, surreal effect. Most of my art is inspired by my dreams and memories. My art style is also greatly influenced by my culture, Malaysian culture. For example, the way I illustrate floral motifs, specifically chrysanthemums is inspired by vintage, traditional Malaysian paintings. Having been an architecture student, I had to learn how to use Adobe photoshop to create conceptual architectural collages as well as architectural renderings. Having learnt this skill, I began incorporating Adobe photoshop with my paintings to create interesting effects with my art. For example, collaging my watercolour paintings of fish with an image of real water to make my painting look like it is coming to life.
